HANDCRAFTED
HOMES TO COLLABORATE WITH NATIONALLY
ACCLAIMED DESIGNER WILLIAM E. POOLE
HENDERSON
,
N.C.
— HandCrafted
Homes, a leading residential and commercial real estate developer with
properties throughout the Southeast, has announced a partnership -
the first of its kind - with nationally acclaimed home designer William
E. Poole to design a minimum of 10 system built homes in
North Carolina
,
South Carolina
and
Virginia
. HandCrafted Homes estimates that it will build between 200 and 400
of these homes during the first year while doubling the capacity during
the second year. Territorial expansion is planned as sales increase.
“I’ve
spent over 40 years building a reputation for impeccable design,
quality and good value while acquiring a large following of aspiring
and devoted home owners, so it was essential to team with a company
that shares the same vision and committed to carry on the tradition,” William
E. Poole said. “Nothing can match what I have seen come out
of the HandCrafted Homes factory. The quality and construction is
better than some houses costing $3 million or more that were traditionally
'stick-built’. HandCrafted Homes leads the way in the future
of homebuilding and the future is now.”
The
designs for these homes will be completed over a period of 18 months
with the first to be constructed in late spring in
Charlotte
,
NC
. In addition to the initial offering of the William E. Poole DreamHome
designs, there will be additional custom single-family homes and townhouses
as demand dictates. All copyrighted floor plans are exclusive to HandCrafted
Homes and protected by intellectual property laws.
"With
HandCrafted Homes, we are going to dramatically change the system-built
industry,"
Poole
said. “No one in the nation has ever attempted to go in depth
in this industry, but the risk is minimized with HandCrafted Homes
due to their superior quality.
Known as the “Dream Merchant”,
Poole
’s phenomenal success has come from his ability to translate
dreams into home and place. From planning phases to the end product,
Poole
visualizes every detail inside and out and works diligently to ensure
his designs are implemented to the exact specification.
“We
are extremely honored to have been chosen by the distinguished William
E. Poole to help transform the system built industry,” Bill
Murray, HandCrafted Homes General Manager said. “This partnership
will take HandCrafted Homes to a new level, while broadening our
customer base to include the affluent, sophisticated consumer. “

WILLIAM
E POOLE CUPOLAS INTRODUCED AT 2006 INTERNATIONAL BUILDER SHOW
The
new William E. Poole Collection by Fypon, was unveiled at the 2006
International Builders’ Show. For the new collection,
Poole
has created a line of cupolas for Fypon. Twenty-five ornamental cupolas
range in height from about 5 ft. tall to more than 7 ft.
tall. The low-maintenance cupolas are made of cellular PVC for the
base and roof support. The sill, crown molding and louvers are made
of urethane.
“Cupolas
are an architectural statement on a home,” according to
Poole
. “A cupola’s design reflects the overall feeling of
the home and provides visual appeal. The cupola designs for this
collection include bell, pagoda and hipped roof styles with the center
portions including decorative accents of louvers, glass or wren birdhouses.
“These
designs make it exceptionally easy for homeowners to select a cupola
style that meets their exact needs.” Cupolas in the William
E. Poole Collection feature either vented or non-vented center
portions. Bases on the cupolas come in both octagon and square
styles for easy installation on either flat surfaces or peaked
roofs. Each cupola comes in three sections: a base, center section
and the roof. Stainless steel assembly fasteners and caulking are
included with each cupola kit.
In
addition to the cupolas, the new William E. Poole Collection includes
newel posts, window and door trim, louvers, gables, dormers and
cornice details that enhance Poole’s total home concept.
