Saint Clair

All it takes is a smile. This is a truth known everywhere, but we found it especially so in the tiny Normandy village of Saint-Clair. Speaking no French other than ”bonjour” or “merci”, we discovered rather quickly that a word and a smile (coupled with the requisite hand gestures of course) was all it took for easy understanding. The people of Saint-Clair made us feel right at home—“Southern Hospitality” at it’s best.
