Seaside
We had to stop using the words “go”, “car” and “beach” and start spelling them instead. Every weekend when we were preparing to leave for Seaside, our Eastern Shore home, our little poodle got very excited and thought, once the words were spoken, that we had to leave immediately. Of course, in no time at all, Pepper learned to spell these words— so he stayed in a state of perpetual anticipation until we were finally underway. Pepper always loved our times together at the beach.
